The tree trunk fills my vision. It is sublime. Richly saturated washes of resin, lines of the scribbly gum moth larvae, and fire blackened bark, seem perfectly placed alongside the softer coloured, interlocking pieces that make up the smooth mass of trunk. The power of this creation is felt as I hold my attention, and within this conscious space I am at one with the tree. – CS
